Information Updates Regarding COVID-19 Coronavirus

As more information has to come to light, we have extended our restart date to May 21, 2020. We will continue to update our website as things progress and will keep you informed. We look forward to welcoming you all soon! Until then, please stay safe and we wish you and your families good health.

In compliance with new mandates from our state government and out of an abundance of caution for the wellness and safety of our employees, guests and local community, we have extended our restart date to May 1st, 2020.

In the meantime we will continue to bring the beauty of the Grand Canyon and its surrounding attractions to you on Facebook and Instagram!

March 28th, 2020

Despite the present challenges we know that brighter days lie ahead. Our experience, stability, and solid foundation ensure we will be here and ready to share with you our spectacular tours of the Grand Canyon from Rim to River, our airtours of the Las Vegas Strip and our popular day tours to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. We realize many of you will still want to travel in 2020.

If you are scheduled to travel with us between now and April 20, 2020 you will be receiving an email advising you of your options. You may also contact us at res.las@papillon.com, live chat, or talk to your travel advisor to discuss options for a future tour. Your patience and understanding are sincerely appreciated.

We will be suspending operations at our Grand Canyon National Park and Page/Horseshoe Bend/Antelope Canyon stations as of March 20th, 2020.  Tour reservation centers remain open via livechat and telephone to help you manage your existing booking or to make a new reservation.   We are currently taking reservations for tours restarting April 20th, 2020.  Our team looks forward to the privilege of serving you and showing you the wonders of Grand Canyon and beyond.

In light of the recent restrictions imposed by the Nevada state government, our top priority remains the well-being of our guests and employees. We are truly grateful for each and every one of our valued partnerships while we all navigate through these times of uncertainty together. Our entire team at Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters wishes you the best and is here for support through the COVID-19 pandemic. With the announcement of the Nevada Governor’s order to immediately impose a 30-day shutdown of all nonessential businesses, our Las Vegas, Nevada terminals and offices are temporarily closed. 

We will advise as soon as the situation changes and we can resume operations, currently we are accepting reservations for Las Vegas based travel April 20, 2020 and onward and look forward to welcoming our guests once again.

We know there are questions and concerns regarding our operation during this unprecedented time. Our commitment to providing a safe and healthy experience to our valued guests and employees remains unchanged.

In addition, we are continuously monitoring and implementing the latest recommendations and updates on COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and federal and state government agencies. Rest assured all recommendations are in place to keep our facilities, aircraft and ground vehicles clean, sanitized and as safe as possible.

  • Vehicle Sanitation Procedure: Diligently disinfect all ground vehicles after each pickup.
  • Aircraft Sanitation Procedure: Aircraft surfaces and headphones are thoroughly sanitized after each flight.
  • Common Use Area Health Standards: Lobbies and all common use areas are being wiped down and disinfected at minimum every two hours (per government recommendations). Also, hand sanitizer, with at least 60% alcohol base, has been provided in our facilities for all employees and passengers.
  • Service Etiquette: We have asked our pilots and customer service staff to avoid hand contact with guests.

You have our assurance that your health and safety are at the forefront of everything we do. We recognize the fluidity of this situation and understand travel plans might be interrupted. You and your guests are protected by our 24-hour cancellation policy.
